Bali Itinerary 10 Days: Ubud, Munduk, Kintamani & Seminyak

Planning a 10-day trip to Bali can be exciting, but choosing where to stay and how to arrange your route can also be confusing. Bali has beautiful beaches, cultural attractions, waterfalls, mountain scenery, and many different areas to explore.

If you are visiting Bali for the first time, staying in just one area may not be the best way to experience the island. A multi-area itinerary allows you to enjoy different sides of Bali without spending your entire holiday travelling between destinations.

This 10-day Bali itinerary is designed for travellers who want a relaxed combination of culture, nature, mountain scenery, and beach time. It includes Ubud, Munduk, Kintamani, and Seminyak, with enough flexibility to enjoy each destination without rushing.

Whether you are travelling as a couple, with family, or with friends, this route can be adjusted to suit your interests and travel style.

Day 1: Arrive in Bali and Travel to Ubud

After arriving at Ngurah Rai International Airport, make your way to Ubud, one of Bali’s most popular destinations for culture, nature, and wellness.

Ubud is a great place to begin a Bali holiday because it offers a different atmosphere from the beach areas. Instead of busy coastal streets, you will find rice fields, traditional villages, art galleries, cafés, and beautiful surroundings.

Depending on your arrival time, you may simply check in and rest. If you arrive early enough, you could enjoy a relaxed evening around central Ubud.

Things to do on your first evening:

  • Walk around central Ubud.
  • Visit a local café.
  • Enjoy dinner at a restaurant.
  • Explore the evening market.
  • Relax at your accommodation.

Where to stay: Central Ubud is convenient for restaurants, shops, and many attractions. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, consider staying slightly outside the town centre.

Travel tip: If you arrive late at night, it is usually better to go directly to your accommodation rather than trying to visit attractions on the same day.

Day 2: Explore Ubud’s Cultural and Scenic Highlights

Your second day is a good opportunity to explore some of Ubud’s most famous attractions.

A possible itinerary includes:

Ubud Palace

Located in the centre of Ubud, Ubud Palace is a popular place to visit for travellers interested in Balinese architecture and culture.

Ubud Art Market

The nearby Ubud Art Market is a good place to browse souvenirs, handicrafts, and locally made products.

Saraswati Temple

This beautiful temple is known for its lotus pond and traditional Balinese design.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace

One of Bali’s most recognisable landscapes, Tegalalang Rice Terrace is a popular stop for photography and enjoying the countryside.

Tirta Empul Temple

If you are interested in Balinese culture, Tirta Empul is another worthwhile destination. The temple is known for its sacred spring water and traditional purification rituals.

Suggested route:
Ubud → Tegalalang → Tirta Empul → Ubud Palace → Ubud Art Market

You do not need to visit every attraction in one day. Choose a few that interest you and leave enough time to enjoy the experience.
